I'm hoping someone with lookup capabilities might provide some info on Dr Jacob G SCHAUB (physician) who appears to have resided most of his life in Monroe County. He married Elisabeth Missel in 1849 in Morgan Co and they next appear in Sardis. This was at least a second marriage for him. Children from earlier marriage(s) appear to be Margaret Ann (DENNIS), Mariah, Hannah (WINLAND), Christina (BARRACKMAN), Jacob pos married Sarah FOWLER, and Frederick who I believe is the Frederick Schaub who died at Andersonville Prison. There is another "daughter" Catharine who married Salathiel LEMMON and resided at Sardis until around the turn of the century. Birthdate was near time of Jacob's marriage to Elisabeth so not sure where she fits in. One of their children, Blanch married George TOWLE, a druggist at Sardis, around 1905. I am most interested in Dr SCHAUB and Elisabeth and in the LEMMONS. Info on Jacob's earlier marriage might help clarify things also. Thanks for any assistance any of you can provide. Nancy
