I've discovered that many of my ancestors from Nothweiler and Rumbach, Bavaria (now Pfalz, Bayern) settled in Monroe County. The entire Feldner family (George and Maria Elisabetha and their children), some of the Brubachs, as well as my greatgrandfather, Nicolas Beiber, settled in Monroe county as farmers in the mid 1800s. Does anyone else have immigrant ancestors from Bavaria or Alsace that settled in this area? Or is anyone researching the same surnames? I'd love to hear from you. Thanks, Betsy
