What are the dates on your Samuel Newton Dixon? Where was he born? What are the dates on his parents and where are they from? I know quite a bit about my Samuel Dixon's descendants, but absolutely nothing about him except where and to whom he was married and the fact that he lived some years in Monroe County, OH because my grandfather, his son Thomas, was born there 7/6/1855 and lived there all his life. He was married to Delilah Figley on Jan. 1 (or 3), 1839, in Harrison County, OH. Family tradition says that Samuel was born about 1815, in Richmond, VA - whether Richmond the city or the County, I don't know. I am currently looking at land transfers in OH for that period of time. It looks like there was at least two Samuel Dixons living in OH at the same time. If you can give me any more information on your Samuel Newton Dixon, we might be able to clear up this mystery. I certainly hope you have more information on your ancestor than I have been able to find on mine. Thank you for writing in response to my post. ~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~ Maryann Dixon Moseby Mailto: dixlan2@aol.com ICQ: 1631995, AOL IM: dixlan2 Geneology Lines: BUCHANAN, BUCK, CLINE, DIXON, FIGLEY, HABARLE/HEBERLY, HALL, HYDER, ICE, KING, McCLENDON, McELROY, McVAY, MOSEBY, MOSIER ~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~
