    3. For the person who inquired about this surname, In the mid 1830's, several Monroe Co. families migrated west and became pioneer settlers in Olive Twp. of Elkhart Co., IN. In Olive Twp., there is an old cemetery referred to as the Bell-Shutts Cemetery. There are only 14 identifed graves that contain the bodies of the following Monroe Co. surnames: Archer, Inks (probably Enochs) and Morris.
