Sandy; Think we have been in touch before. My William Burdett(e) was born 1/17/1817 in Belmont County, Ohio. Rumor has it that his parents were William Burdett b- 1769? and Rosa/Ruth Fitzgerald who were married in 1804. I have been unable to find positive proof of this relationship. He married Mary Johnston in 1842 and their children were: Esther b- 1843 Harriet b- 1845 William J. b- 1848 Sophia b- 1850 Mary Lucinda b- 1851 (my connection) Miller b- 1854 John M b- 1856 Robert M b- 1858 Abraham b- 1865 Launa b- 1868 I have more info on each of them, if you need it. I notice you are researching Jefferson also, which Mary Lucinda married Charles Robert Jefferson from Ohio also.
