A. Davis and Rachel Green are listed as the parents of Miriam Davis, born 1803. Miriam married Amos Smith and moved with their family to Monroe Co., Ohio. Don't know if any connection with any other Davis in the area. My Dye is William Dye (1807-1880) and Marie Mitchell (1809-1876), married in Monroe Co., Ohio and moved to Wayne Co., Illinois. They supposedly had 11 children but we have only been able to find 4 and they all went to Illinois. Believe some might be still in Ohio. William was the son of David and Lucy Tuel Dye. David, the son of Daniel Dye Sr. Another Dye is Mahlon Dye who married Sarah E. States, Feb. 13, 1868. They had one daughter, Alice, and have lost track of them. Trying to finish the descendants of the Archibald States family as well as the William Dye family. Hendershot - William Hendershot, born around 1813 in Pennsylvania married Mary Monroe, daughter of Nicholas Monroe of Belmont Co., Ohio. This family went to Appanoose Co., Ohio. A brother of Mary, John, married Matilda Lambert and lived and raised their family in Washington Co., OH. I also am hunting this family.
