Hello Jack, In the book Monroe Co., Oh The First 20yrs Commissioners' Journal The 1st day of March 1830 Commissioners met agreeable to adjournment and proceeded to distribute to each twp an equal sum of eighteen dollars of the three percent fund allowed to each county, and the following persons were appointed to expend the money in each twp after they shall take an oath faithfully to discharge the duties incumbent on them.
