Hello all, Does anyone have any info on these families, and how they tie together? Robert Lyons (1805-1888) married Margaret Guthrie in Tyler County, WV, 1830 Children: Aaron J., James, Mirindy, Hider, Nancy, Charles, Millie Jane (Amelia), Tyler, Frank, John, Katherine, Mary Ann, Alexander (Aleck), Eliza. About 1868 Robert Lyons with wife Margaret, their children Mary Ann, Alexander and Eliza and grandson Linzey Lyons moved to Hannibal, Monroe County. Linzey Lyons married Ella Piatt in Monroe in 1884. Supposedly Ella Piatt was a daughter of William Piatt and Ella Brown. Ella Piatt was b 1864. William Piatt was married also to Precious Keene and Hannah Ferrell-Dixon. Another daughter of William and Ella Piatt, Sarah Elizabeth (Lizzie) Piatt married Alexander Lyons in 1881. Lizzie Piatt was b 1861. William Piatt and Precious Keene had sons James, Lorenzo, Bejamin, John, Richard, and dau Catherine who were maybe half brothers/sisters to Ella Piatt and Sarah Lizzie Piatt. Ella Piatt was taken by a Garrett family to Kansas as a small child (her mom died at age 7?) and returned to Monroe to live with her uncle John Piatt for 4 years when she was about 17.
