I don't know who the people were that jumped on you so readily, but obviously, they don't realize what a public spirited person you are and that you sent the forwarded mail out of concern for others. I know that we are not supposed to post mail that is not directly geneology related, but surely tolerance can be policy also. Good grief, everyone makes mistakes - and I know that you only forwarded the note in your concern for others. Personally, I hope you will reconsider your decision. Admittedly, my reasons are selfish, but you are one of, if not the largest contributor to this list and you have helped a lot of people that do need help. I only wish I could find someone like you to help me with some of my brick walls. Please reconsider and stay on the list with us.
