Sorry, Janet, I just reread your email. and realize that you are recommending chalk, not wax...I got in the soup last year for discussing another method of reading the stones and got"blasted out of the water"...many also said not to use chalk, and made a big deal of that, too. So, I figured that rubbings were the "safest" way to go, and wanted to share my resource for wax, which I found difficult to find. Now, once more the rubbing controversy has reared it's "ugly head".....I should have know better than to bring it up again. I only get myself in trouble!
