My great great grandmother, Deborah Boyd, was born to Samuel Boyd and Elizabeth McGrew. Samuel was born in 1802. His father's name was Henry Boyd. I don't have any siblings listed for Samuel, but have not devoted alot of time to research on this line yet. The Boyds were devout Presbyterians, Samuel's first son was named William who became a Presbyterian minister. There may be some connection. Do you know where your William was born?
