Moore Connection/Monroe County in the March 9, 1911 Sardis Mrs. W. D. Moore of Parkersburg and Miss Evalyn Nesbitt of Sistersville spent a few days here last week with their sister Mrs. W. T. Webb. (Elizabeth Nesbitt, sister of Evalyn married Reuben T. Richardson in Sardis) if you fast forward to Monroe County Republican, Woodsfield June 16, 1932 Mr. and Mrs. Homer Richardson, of New Martinsville, visited Mrs. Dora Moore, Sunday. (Homer was son of Reuben and Elizabeth) and June 30, 1932 Mrs. Edwin Hornbrook, of Kansas City, Missouri, and Mr. and Mrs. Homer Richardson, of New Martinsville, spent Sunday with Mrs. Dora Moore. (Hornbrooks has a business in Sardis, and a drug store in New Martinsville--partners with Reuben Richardson in the later part of 1800's), but do not know if a blood relation with Nesbitts) This is all I have on the Moore connection.
