Note: This family must have moved from VA to OH between the birth of son Jared, b. c1859, and the time of the census in summer-fall of 1860. I suggest looking in Washington Co-Greene Co, PA, and Ohio Co, (W)VA, for early Hendricks antecedants. ____________________________________________________________________ I hope these census exptractions are helpful in sorting out your "William Hendricks" and in providing more to think about. Hendricks in the household of Henry Hendricks whom I assume to be his son [father?]. On July 11, 1880, a William Hendricks marries Charlotte Cline in Monroe Co., Ohio. In Greenbrier Cemetery in Perry Township I find a William Hendrix b. 10  Nov.1884, age 29 y, 4 m 5 d  s/o of H.B. & C.  I believe this is  the William Hendricks found in 1880 census as Wm G. Hendricks in the 1880 census  was 25 years old and this makes this William the right age.  I believe it  should have been died and not born in 1884. Now in 1900 in Perry Township shows up William Hendricks born March 1854, wed 20 years married to Lotta, born January 1860.  The children of this  William Hendricks are Archibald P., Henry D., Anna B. and Abram J.  In 1910  and 1920 this family is in Springfield City, Jefferson Co., Ohio. Can someone explain to me if we are working with the same William (which I  doubt) and who is the second William who shows up in the same township? Thanks for any help you can give me.  I believe he must have died by  1930 as can't find them after 1920. Jerilyn
