I have Mary Jane Mott born in Monroe County, OH, 1852/1853. The rumor has it that her parents died crossing a river. In the 1860 Monroe County, OH census, it has Mary Jane Mott (7)living with John Francis (52) & Amelia Francis (48). I was wondering if they are an aunt and uncle or just some kind souls who took her in? In 1870, they are in the Wayne County, IL census. In the 1880 Wayne County, IL Census, she is married to William C. Bobbitt and Ameila Francis is with them. Any one have any suggestions for me? Thanks so much, Sandra
