Miss Neva Gano returned to her home in Wheeling Sunday evening from a week's visit here with her grand parents. Misses Adda Knight and Mae Harmon attended the Ohio Valley Round Table at Parkersburg Friday and Saturday. E.D. Steenrod left Saturday for his home in Clarington after teaching school near here the past winter. Miss Emma Vetter returned Saturday evening from a two weeks visit with relatives at St. Mary's. Mr. and Mrs. John Dunn of New Martinsville spent Sunday here with George Tubaugh and family. Mrs. C.E. Schupbach of Sistersville spent Thursday here as the guest of Mrs. J.P. Goodwin. Mrs. George M. Towle was hostess to the Ladies' Aid society Thursday afternoon. Mrs. J. W. Rush and Mrs. John Burkley visited in Wheeling a few days last week. Mrs. Rena Flannagan of Wheeling spent a few days here last week with relatives. Several from here took in the show at New Martinsville Thursday evening. W. E. Romick was at home over Sunday from his work in Wheeling. W.F. Romick is moving into the Merckle property on Mound street. Supt. J.V. Nelson was a business caller in Shadyside Saturday. Miss Susan English of New Martinsville was in town Friday S. V. Williamson of Steamer Ruth spent Sunday at home. Miss Maude Ryne had her millinery opening Saturday.
