Vetter arrived home Saturday evening from a three weeks visit with relatives in Pennsylvania. Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Gossett spent Sunday in New Martinsville with Mr. and Mrs. J.A. Bowen Mrs. Priscila Farmer left Saturday for a month's visit with her son Joseph at Martins Ferry. Miss Hattie Thompson entertained a few of her friends at her home Friday evening. Mrs. Albert Bachman visited at the home of John Bachman several days last week. Misses Hattie Thompson and Sara Kerr were New Martinsville callers Saturday. Misses Ethel Thompson and Elizabeth Garden are clerking in New Martinsville. Mrs. Walter White of Parkersburg is visiting at the home of Mrs. A.C. Vetter. Miss Sara Kerr of Woodsfield is the pleasant guest of Miss Hattie Thompson. Mrs. and Mrs. Harrison Rush of Clarington spent Sunday here with his mother. Miss Susan J. English spent Sunday afternoon here with Miss Adda Knight. Miss Hattie Thompson returned home from a short visit at Shadyside. John Griffith of Moundsville is the guest of his brother Dr. S. C. Griffith. Edwin Fankhauswer was the guest of his brother John here Saturday. Mrs. Eva Hess left Saturday for Wheeling where she has employment. William H. Eisenbarth of Antioch was a business caller here Friday. L. Fred Griffon spent Saturday and Sunday here with his family. George H. Martin has entered Duff's business college at Pittsburg. Dr. S. C. Griffith and brother were county seat visitors Tuesday. C. K. Gano of Wheeling was the guest of his mother Sunday. John Gehring of Wheeling is visiting his parents at this place. W. T. Powell of Clarington was a business visitor here Saturday. Miss Erma Vetter was shopping in Sistersville Saturday. Miss. W. D. Webb was a Sistersville shopper Friday.
