Dr. George Bridgeman of New Martinsville spent Sunday evening here with his cousin Miss India Witten. Supt. J. V. Nelson delived an address on "The Three Bells" in the M.E. church Sunday afternoon. Miss Cora Schaffer left Tuesday to spend a few weeks with her sister Mrs. C. K. Gano at Wheeling. Will Dunn, Philip Busche, Charles Barker and E.S. Smittle were county seat visitors last week. Salathiel Lemmon of Wheeling is visiting at the home of his daughter Mrs. George M. Towle. Miss Maude Ryne attended the funeral of Cyrus Higgs at Woodland, W.Va., Sunday. Miss Clara Suter, one of our teachers spent Saturday with her parents at Hannibal. Miss Mabel Rist returned home Sunday from a visit with relatives at Hannibal. Dr. S. C.
