    3. Hi Betty Is there any mention in Will Books of Belmont Co. of Eli Moore borne apr. 21 1827 who married Sarah Thomas? Blessings RPS Researching Surnames: Stutsman, Simmons, Moore, Longenecker, Minnich, Ulrich, Stoner, Overholzer, Miller, Landis, Garber, Engle, Ellar, Diehl, Deeter, Cripe, Brumbaugh, Beck, Barnhart, X-Message: #2 Date: Sun, 20 Mar 2005 19:13:45 EST From: [email protected] To: [email protected] Message-ID: <[email protected]> Subject: Moore Data Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII" Just thought I would add something to the Moore mix. Many Moores are mentioned in the early Will Books of Belmont Co, OH, as found in Lorraine Indermill Quillon's "Will Abstracts, Belmont County, Ohio, Vol. A, B, and C (1810-1827," Willow Bend Books, 2003. The entries may provide a hint to Moore ancestry. Also, the following petition was sent to Pennsylvania authorities from the western frontier pleading for help and protection against the incursions and murders of Indians in the Northwest Territory across the Ohio River. A Samuel Moore was one of the signers. Betti Elaine (King) Auerbach [email protected]
