Hesson and assistants Misses Adda Knight, Mabel Rist and Mae Harman, attended the Ohio Valley Round Table at Moundsville Friday and Saturday. Mrs. George H. Martin arrived home Friday evening from a weeks visit with her husband who is taking a business course in the Bliss college at Pittsburg. Prof. W. J. Gorrell arrived home Friday from Pennsville, Ohio, where he was instructing a class in music the past two weeks. Eugene D. Thompson arrived home Saturday from Lakeville where he has en employed in the oil fields the past five months. Mr. and Mrs. John L. Harman and son Gordon of Marietta are visiting with their parents at this place. Capt. Morris Huffman of the Str. Lucille Noland is spending a few days here with his family. L. Fred Griffon was home Saturday and Sunday from his school work in Belmont county. Miss Flora Frey left Saturday morning for months visit with relatives in Ellwood City, Pa. Charles Barker and family are moving into the Norris building on Mound street. Miss Elizabeth Garden spent Sunday in New Martinsville with relatives. Will and Floyd Gano of Newport spent Sunday here with their mother. Mr. and Mrs. Grover Sole of Woodsfield are guests of relatives here. Miss Erma Vetter is spending several weeks in Pittsburg with relatives. Miss Margaret Dunn was a shopper in Wheeling Saturday. Mrs. E.R. Seibert was a caller in Paden City Friday.
