Charles Merckle has bought the Noah Billiter property on Mound street and will move into it about the first of April. A three-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Bolen of Bellaire was brought here Wednesday evening for burial. Mrs. Mary Jane Henthorn of Hannibal visited her sister Mrs. Jacob Mellott several days last week. Mrs. Dr. S. C. Griffith left first of the week for a visit with relatives at Shadyside and Wheeling. Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Romick are spending a few days with friend and relatives at Wheeling. Mrs. J. W. Litten, jr., and son Lester have returned from a visit with her mother at Antioch. We noticed W. T. Powell of Clarington shaking hads with friends in town Saturday. George Topp of Clarington was a business caller in town one day last week. George D. Harvey of New Matamoras was in town Friday on a business mission. Miss Maude Ryne is at Wheeling this week attending the millinery openings. William Busche is a home from his work in Pittsburg for a short stay. Mrs. P. Cunningham is improving from a several sick spell. William F. Romick spent Sunday at home with his family. John P.
