Mr. and Mrs. H.C. Powell of Parkersburg spent Sunday at the home of George M. Towle. A. B. Caldwell of Alledonia was a business caller in town several days last week. A large number from here attended the football game at New Martinsville Saturday. Mrs. Sarah Carroll of Parkersburg arrived Wednesday for a visit with relatives. A.E. Watters and W.L. Winland were at New Matamoras first of the week. Misses Jennie Litten and Mabel Rist were at New Martinsville Saturday. John L. Harman, wife and son Gordon were up from Marietta Sunday. George Case of Parkersburg spent Sunday here with relatives. Vernon Mercer of Sistersville was calling on friends here Sunday. George Hess was a New Martinsville Sunday afternoon.
