Misses Marie Hissom and Erma Vetter returned home Tuesday evening from a visit at Bridgeport, W.Va., Misses Flora Frey and Lucille Griffith arrive home Thursday from Wooster where they attended school. Prof. J. V. Nelson moved to Bellaire last week where he is superintendent of school for the coming year. E.B. Talbott and wife and children of Sistersville visited with George Martin and wife Saturday. Mrs. C. K. Gano and son Chester arrived Saturday from Wheeling for a visit with her parents. Herbert and Charles Litten of Martins Ferry were here Saturday and Sunday with friends. J. M. Goddard and wife of Woodsfield spent Saturday and Sunday here with relatives. Mrs. Lena Rasch of Avalon, Pa., is visiting at the home of her sister Mrs. John Hess. Mrs. George Paden arrived home Saturday from the City Hospital of Wheeling. Miss Mary Farmar of Martins Ferry attended the K. of P. picnic here Saturday. Miss Mamie Hissom of Clarington is visiting with her cousin Margaret Dunn. Mr.. and Mrs. George M. Towle are visiting relatives in Parkersburg. Miss Elizabeth Frey of Elwood City, Pa., is visiting at the home of E. C. Frey. Mr. and Mrs. John L. Harman of Marietta are visiting their parents here. Miss Edna Bowen of St. Mary's, W. Va., is spending her vacation here. Rev. William Boetticher preached at the M.E. church Sunday evening.
