Nelson, Mr. and Mrs. William Goddard and Misses Adda Knight, Mae Harman, Nelle Martin and Ethel Winland attended the recital Friday evening at New Martinsville given by the Chicago Glee Club. Jacob Wohnhas, an aged citizen of this place, is able to be out after a very serious illness the past few weeks. Mrs. William Goddard was hostess to the Ladies' Aid Society Thursday afternoon at their regular meeting place. Clyde Paden arrived home Friday from Mt. Union college which he had been attending the past winter. Miss Louise Wohnhas is visiting at the home of her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Wohnhas. Miss Ella Harkins of Woodsfield spent Saturday and Sunday here with her father Rev. D. W. Harkins. George and Harold Goddard of Woodsfield are here this week and visitors at the home of their brother. Fred Wohnhas was a business caller in Wheeling Monday and Tuesday. Dr. McKelvey, of Hannibal and Dr. Martin of New Martinsville were professional callers here Friday. Mrs. Eva Martin and son Frank are home from a weeks visit at Clarington with relatives. Mrs. Joseph Farmer and daughter Golia left Thursday for their home in Martins Ferry. Miss Lou Wiley of Wheeling arrived Saturday noon for a visit with her aunt Mrs. Dr. Griffith. Miss Mae Harman is spending Saturday and Sunday at Marietta with her brother. C. O. Cunningham, R., F.D. carrier No. 1 is off duty again on account of illness. George H. Martin is home from his work in the Lincoln county oil fields. Miss Hazel Griffon is visiting her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Gehring. Eugene Dunn of Huntington, W.
