    1. Antioch General Store Ledger

    3. Looking for someone who may have the Antioch General Store Ledger from around 1860-1881. There are legends in this area that the James-Younger Gang may have hid out here for a while. According to some local people Frank & Jesse James may have signed the ledger for tabs. They have also been credited with staying being near Laings and Cameron. There is also supposed to be a huge rock located somewhere here in Monroe County with the initials J.B., F.J. and J.J. It is possible that they really were here because riding with Quantrell/Quantrill (a confederate sympathizer) who was from Dover, OH during the civil war who hung out with them before the bank/train robberies. Would love to hear from anyone who maybe able to contribute to this research. I am looking for this information because one of the James-Younger gang members may possibly be a gg g? grandfather to my spouse. We can not get find a name for the grandfather and a story has been passed down that one of the James Gang members was here or in Parkersburg, WV and the Grandmother refused to tell who the father was. I have come across my line where my family moved from Marietta to KS and Missouri close to where Frank & Jesse James were from and did a lot of bank robberies. Thank you for any help you can give.
