He & first wife Mary Ann were from Loudoun County, VA, coming to Monroe County, OH in 1831/1832, but previously having been in Belmont County, OH perhaps as early as 1828 or thereabouts. Believe they came to OH with Mary Ann's relatives, the Wilson Family and the Burson Family. If you know anything about families descended from Absolum, please contact me. I will share my fairly extensive information. Especially interested in finding info on daughter Olive Dennis born in OH possibly Belmont County, OH in about 1830 and her brother George C. Dennis both of whom may have gone to IA, MN or WS in the mid 1860's.
