Drum was born September 14, 1868 in Green Twp, Monroe Co., Oh and passed away at his home in Woodsfield, Wednesday morning, December 12, 1945, at the age of 77y3m. He was the son of the late John B. & Sarah PIATT Drum. He was united in marriage to Della F. Clegg, December 28, 1892, and to this union were born three children. Mr. Drum was a life long resident of Monroe Co, living on a farm in Green twp until about 30 yrs ago, when he and his family moved to Woodsfield. He was a faithful member of the Methodist church and the Men's Bible class. Left to mourn his departure are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Bertha Bigler of Woodsfield, Miss Blanche Drum of the home; one son, Harold Drum, of Carrollton, Ohio; five grandchildren and one great-grandson; one brother, Linza A. Drum of Washington D.C. and a host of more distant relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, from the Galbraith funeral home by his pastor, Rev. LeRoy C. Henne. Interment was in the Oaklawn cemetery.
