Lloyd age 6, James Jr. age 4 and Franklin age 1.This enumeration shows James as born in Pennsylvania. 1861 John W. Lloyd marries Margaret Goudy on April 24th . James purchases 40 acres Jul. 8th from John Doherty for $700. Augustus T. Lloyd enlists as Private, Co. E., 12th Ohio Volunteer Infantry on June 25th . John W. Lloyd enlists as Private, Co. A, 77th Ohio Volunteer Infantry Regiment for three years in Clarington, Ohio by Capt. W.E. Stephens on October 21st . 1862 Fifth son Charles Orville Lloyd born Dec. 9th. 1864 Augustus is wounded in the Battle of Lynchburg, Virginia on June 17th . He recuperated in the army hospital in Gallipolis, Ohio, and was mustered out of the service July 11th . 1865 Gen. Robert E. Lee surrenders to Gen. This enumeration shows James as born in Pennsylvania. April 1st James sells 40 acres to Josephus Hoskinson for $15. On July 23rd, John W. Lloyd files (or judgement is made?) for divorce from Margret (Goudy) Lloyd. Earlier, on June 19th, Margaret is enumerated living at her parents with her children John W. Lloyd, Jr and Rowena F. Lloyd. Her father, Robert Goudy, is listed as infirm.
