His father died as a result of a fall in 1831. Isaac married 9 Dec. 1852 to Elizabeth Warwick, born 8 Dec. 1827 to Thomas and Rachel Warwick. He served the Union Army, as a Corporal in Co. C, 92nd Reg. O.V.I. Isaac & Elizabeth lived in Bethel Twp. Monroe Co., Ohio. They had 6 children. Isaac died 31 May 1903 and Elizabeth died 31 Jan. 1909. Burial is at the Pleasant Ridge Church of Christ.
