Kasserman, retired Monroe Co farmer, died at home on Clarington, RFD, Sunday at 12:10 following a heart attack. Mr. Kasserman was born May 29, 1862, a son of Frederick & Katherine THONEN Kasserman. Surviving are four sons, Henry Kasserman, of Hannibal, O; Albert Kasserman of Akron; Carl Kasserman of Pittsburgh; and Wesley Kasserman of Sistersville; two daughters, Miss Emma Kasserman of Buffalo, N.Y. and Mrs. Elizabeth Kitterer of St. Louis, Mo; three brothers, John Kasserman of Rittman, O; and Alex Kasserman of Akron; six grandchildren & four great-grandchildren. Mr. Kasserman was a life-long member of the Zion Evangelical & Reformed church and a highly respected citizen, friend & neighbor. Funeral services were held Thrusday afternoon in mt. Zion Evangelical & Reformed church with Rev. Theodore Merten officiation. Burial was made in the church cemetery by the Wharton-Ellis funeral home of New Martinsville.
