    3. Lyle's query prompts my own CRAWFORD question. Maybe we can shake something loose that will help us both. I'm interested in learning more about W.J. Crawford, who owned land near Graysville in Washington Twp. in 1869, and was also either a minister or a J.P., as he performed a marriage in 1868. Specifically, did he have a daughter named Martha, who would have been born ca. 1850-60? Did he have a son also named W.J.? Did he come from Ireland, and if so, when? Did he have a sister who married James McNiece? The maiden name of James McNiece's wife was Crawford, according to his son's death record. James McNiece came from Ireland between 1840 and 1848. He owned land adjacent to W.J. Crawford in 1869. The McNieces and Crawfords still lived on the same land in 1898. Can anyone help with Crawfords? They are in the 1850 census for Monroe Co, OH. They named son King Haines. Grandson named Crawford Haines/Haynes. Hoping these given names will lead to the ancestory of Charles and Mary Haines. ANY HELP APPRECIATED. Thanks...Lyle Corder ==== OHMONROE Mailing List ==== Homepage for this list is http://www.rootsweb.com/~ohmonroe/
