Joanne I am searching for parents, siblings or anything about Phebe Starkey who married Robert Lappin in Belmont Co. 1828. She was born in Pennsylvania in abt 1810. I don't have time to pull up the file right now, but that is close. She died in Kansas. We have nothing on her family. Period. The Smith is Amos Smith and Mariam Davis were in Belmont and Monroe Co., until about 1856 when they moved to Wayne Co., Illinois. We now know he had a brother John who went to West Virginia and was in Monroe and Nobel County for a while, but trying to connect with others. His father was Aaron Smith and Amos was born in Bucks Co.. PA around 1880 or thereabouts. If this sounds familiar I will put exact dates out tomorrow. Thanks for inquiring.
