My great-grandfather, Charles Keevert (Kubbert in Germany) came over about 1851-2 probably with a brother/nephew(?) Jacob Kubbert). Jacob has naturalization papers from Monroe Co. I have been unable to find papers on Charles. Does anyone have any ideas where to go next? The courthouse offices don't seem to have any information but maybe Ihave been looking in the wrong office.
