Am I right in assuming the publications of the abstaracts and obits from the Spirit of Democracy and other Monroe County newspapers are of Monroe County residents only? I DO have family from Monroe County ( Nancy ( Steele) and John Brown(b. 1807), but the particular person I have been check for now is James Wilson Junkins (1810-1896). I know he lived NEAR the Monroe County line, and many of his people reportedly buried in Bealsville area (Fedorchak Papers). But I can not find him listed in any of the obit books or newspaper abstracts. He died in York twp, Belmont County. I am beginning to think maybe this is why he is not listed. What do you think?
