    3. Wills begin in July 1867. A courthouse fire destroyed all wills before that date. They are located in the Probate Office. You can contact that office about acquiring a copy of your ancestor's will. Probate Office (740) 472-5264, 101 N. Main Street, Woodsfield, OH 43793. In the absence of these records, you can sometimes find more information on estate settlements in the Clerk of Courts office.
