    3. Karen, Can you tell me if the Civil War memorial was to contain all volunteers from Monroe County or just those with the 116th? And why on earth was it placed inside the Court House where no one could view it on week ends? God bless the police officer who took time to unlock the door so we could get a brief look at it. I helped Mark Hasellberger with names I thought would be added to the memorial...copied lots of info and sent it to him. I was sad to learn that he only used one of the names I sent...My great grandfather Robert S Hutchison who died during that war. My other great grandfather Samuel McConnell of Cameron died in the hospital in Baltimore is and buried in Louden Cemetery there but his name was omitted. Is it possible for someone to post all the names on the Monroe Co. Genealogy web site? Thanks for your help. Sharon Walters

    3. Sharon, I'm sorry I can't answer the questions that you asked about the Civil War memorial. I really don't know much about it. I think it was to honor all the veterans of the war, not just the 116th. I like your idea about posting all the names. I will contact Mark and ask him about this and if we could have a copy. If you would like to send the information you have on your ancestors for publication in the Navigator, please send it along. I would be happy to do print it. Thanks for the good idea! 3. Sharon, Aren't you a descendant of the Wilkinsons of Belmont County? I hope I'm not confusing you with someone else! If so, just ignore me. But if you are a Wilkinson descendant, I wanted to let you know that I think I finally figured out John & Ama's family. I'd be happy to share it with you and see what you think. 3. My husband is a descendant of the Wilkinsons. I would love to have the information as I am trying to finalize my "trees". Thanks so much.
