    2. Randi, I would suggest you take time to go to the Woodsfield Ohio Library where there is a nice collection of local genealogy. I believe there are a lot of Yoho's from that county. Here is the web site for the Historical Society for Monroe County. It is just across the river from Washington County, PA., Monroe County that is. It is about an hour south of St. Clairsville, OH where I stayed. There is a Holiday Inn, Hampton and also a Best Value Inn, at the bottom of the hill from the Hampton and HI. The cost there is $250 for a week, no frills but another genealogist told me after I was already at the Hampton. The Hampton has a good restaurant and there are a lot of fast foods and a shopping center across the Highway, including an Office Depot or Office Max, something handy for copies of papers and material. I remember my first trip and how excited I was to see the places that Catherine Fedorchak located in the 1960's. That was in 2000. Since then I have been back two more times, each discovering more material. Good Luck. 3. Consider staying in New Martinsville, WV. It's right across the Ohio River from Sardis, OH and about 20 minutes away from Woodsfield.
