An article was written in a paper from that area. A teacher and an entire classroom of students named her by each giving a name or their names to be used. I do not know how that came about but that is the story that has been passed down in the family. Her names is Rosa Gibbons born September 1857. Born in Monroe County, Ohio. Woodsfield area. Any information is appreciated. If anyone has any clues on researching for the newspaper article please let me know. She later married William J. Newell, also from Monroe.
