The 4th Annual Mid-Ohio Valley Genealogy Fair is scheduled for Saturday April 15th from 9am to 3pm at the Wood County Court House. I am not affiliated with this project, but I thought you folks might be interested. This will be my third year of attendance, and my first as a displayer. (Providing I get off my hiney and send in my money!) Admission is free. There are workshops at a cost of $3 each or $10 for the set of four. The topics are: How I happened to Wreite a Book on my Family --9 am German Family Research: Getting Those Names, Dates and Places Right --10 am A Study in the Use of Military Records --11 am Genealogy 101 --1 pm The court house records will be available to search. There will be lots of information, trading tables, and vendors for resource materials to purchase. Wes Cochran always has his selection there. Local Gen/Hist societies also have stuff to sell. Its wonderful--and the 4-H Hot Dogs are good too!! Dont miss this if you live within reasonable distance.
