Nancy Mathews (born 1828 in Ohio), my 3rd great-grandmother, was married to Abraham Mellott. They lived in Monroe County, Ohio. In looking for canidates for her father, I find a John Mathews in 1840 who has a female in his household that falls into the right age bracket. He is a bit old (btw 60-70), but the oldest female is younger (btw 40-50). If anyone has any further information on any of these Mathews, I could use a lead on this one.
