Spirit of Democracy February 14, 1895 Sardis (Deferred from last week.) A party was given at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Colvin Thursday evening. Those present were, Miss Lena Krebs, Stella Cunningham, Rosa Drolinger, Sadie Brennan, Minnie Lollading, Mr. Jim Hubbard, Arch Brennan and Frank Humphrey. All reported a fine time. Married, on the 30th, Miss Bertha Fagert to Charles Daily by Rev. Mr. Wilson of Hannibal. Miss Lena Krebs of New Martinsville is the guest of Mande Cunningham. Miss Alice Williamson came home Friday on a visit. Mr. Joseph Ramsey is here visiting his brother. Mr. Ramsey was at home Tuesday.
