Hello the List! I am hoping someone can confirm the death dates of John Nelson BAKER of Washington Twp. and his wife, Sarah A. (Powell) (Cline) BAKER. The Low Gap Cemetery listing has John's death date as May 1, 1907 (listed as John C.) and Sarah's as July 23, 1911. No death certificate was found for Sarah at the Ohio Historical Society, and no record of John's death in Probate office records for 1907-08. No mention of their deaths could be found in the Spirit of Democracy from their supposed dates of death and a month forward. Furthermore, Sarah did not appear in the Washington Twp. census in 1910, nor did the census indexes locate our Sarah in 1910. They were 77 and 67 in the 1900 census. Does anyone have other information/records about their deaths? Are there books at the libraries or societies that might list or include their obituaries? Could it be that the cemetery dates for be incorrect themselves or even misread, given the passage of nearly 100 years? Any help in providing information and for finding the obituaries of these ancestors will be appreciated. Corban Goble
