Spirit of Democracy November 16, 1899 Sardis Miss Velma O'Neil of Martinsville was the guest of her niece Mrs. Art Cunningham over Sunday. Mrs. Charles Barker of Dairy was with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Wohnhas this week. The church was crowded Friday evening for the entertainment which was quite a success. Quite a crowd of young folks enjoyed a straw-ride Wednesday evening to Baresville. Miss Hattie Lowe is at Clarington the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Mont Lowe. Mrs. Bridgeman was with friends at Wheeling the past week. Louis Stoehr made a business trip to Woodsfield Wednesday. Fred Wohnhas of Dairy was a visitor here Saturday.
