I am trying to connect my William DILLON with his proper parents and ancestors. We know that William was born in Ohio, but we do not know which county. We know that in the 1850 Monroe County, Green Township census William was living with his wife, Elizabeth (?) and their three sons: Abraham Henry and John. In 1853 William moved his family to Decatur County, Iowa where they purchased a farm and lived for many years. William died about 1875 as his wife transferred ownership of the farm to the older son Abraham Dillon. Does anyone have information on this William DILLON's parentage and his ancestors. Thank you!
