Hey folks, sorry but don't remember if I've ever posted anything on these two families here. I am attempting to look for information on Vandiver Kelly Darrah and two different Henthorn women. The first was Mary Henthorn who was born about 1866 I believe in Monroe County, Ohio and passed away shortly after 1890 in Marshall County, West Virginia. Mary married Vandiver on July 24, 1883. The two of them had the following children. Sylvester b April 15, 1884, Rose Violet Darrah b Sept 4, 1887 and Edward b April 5, 1890. After Mary's passing Vandiver went on to marry Hannah Henthorn on Sept 7, 1893 in Monroe County, Ohio. I currently have no other information on her. I have spoken with both Monroe County, Ohio and Marhsall County, West Virginia Probate Offices and neither are able to find any kind of death record for her. However on August 15, 1895 Vandiver went on to his third marriage. After having Six children with his third wife, rumor is that in August of 1917 he packed his things and left home leaving both wife and children. I was told by a granddaughter of the eldest daughter of the third marriage that she believed Vandiver stayed somewhere around the Monroe / Marshall Counties. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
