I am still trying to find information about any DRAKE family that lived in Monroe Co.,OH. from 1840-1870. Are they all related or not? My 2xgreat-grandparents were: Thomas DRAKE & Hannah BROWNING.They married in Harrison Co.,OH. 25 Jan.1837 & moved to Monroe Co.after the 1840 census. They had 10 children. Their names were: William,Benjamin,John,Thomas Carter(my line),George Washington,Mary Elizabeth,Wesley,Frederick,Cassandra & Esther Ann DRAKE. Most of this family moved to Wapello Co.,IA. by the 1870 census. Only William,George & Thomas Carter DRAKE remained in Ohio. Please write to me if you have a DRAKE ancestor in Monroe Co.
