She said it was originally Salem and changed to Clarington. I found a listing in my Monroe County Ohio Families book for a Salem school back in the late 1800's but it was located back of Hannibal OH. It closed in 1940. Not sure of the location as I am not real familiar with the area back there in the country. I have one more place to check for you. Will get back with you on it. The lady I talked to said this man would probably know the closing of Clarington school. I will send his name and address to your e-mail.
