Hello, Boy, I am seeing some people that are distantly related to me! My Baker line follows along the same lines. My Great-Grandmother, Columbia Isabelle Baker, is where I believe my family branches off, in another direction. She married John Feiber, and they lived on Barber Ridge, south of Lewisville, Ohio. My Dad, and his brothers, were born, in Lewisville. Our family line left Monroe County at the beginning of WW II, and moved around for a small period of time, until settling in Sullivan, Ashland County, Ohio. John and Belle's daughter, Mary Lou Etta and her husband, Carl Denbow, Sr., are buried in Sullivan, Ohio. There were relatives living up this way. Castener, or Kastener, lived in Savannah, Ohio. They were related to the Baker family. There are Winlands living, in Lewisville, that are my Dad's cousins. I still keep in touch with them. Are you part of the Dillon family? If so, we are related again, through that family. Sandy ************************************** Get a sneak peek of the all-new AOL at http://discover.aol.com/memed/aolcom30tour
Sandy My line of the family moved to Ashland County in the early 1900's from Monroe and Belmont. too. Now who were Columbia Isabelle Baker's parents. You and I must be cousins too ! Were your Denbow's school and or music teachers in Ashland County? I do believe those Lewisville Winlands are related to me. How fun! I dont see Dillon's in my tree but that could just be that I havent connected them yet. randi SANDYGRAMMA1@aol.com wrote: Hello, Boy, I am seeing some people that are distantly related to me! Sandy and Randi, I am reading your email about Columbia Isabelle Baker. So many of our family moved from Monroe Co to Ashland too. Chris Matz and his family for one; but also several members of the Isaac Brown family, including daughter Alice 1871-1943 who married James Baker, 1864-1935. I do not have much on James; but am willing to share what I have on the children. And willing to share about the other families mentioned herein as well.
