I am looking for information on my husband's family. His father, Charles Ramon Fulton, was born in Monroe, MI in 1925. Charles' (Ray) parents were Charles Edward Fulton (b-Blair, OH, 1887) and Nora E. Billingsley (b-Warrenton, OH, 1888). Nora's parents were James Billingsley (b-WV, 1839; d-Warrenton, OH 1912) and Anna A. Jackson Billingsley (b-Warrenton, OH 1852; d-Petersburg, OH, 1939). I understand that John Palmer moved into the Belmont/Monroe County region in the early 1800s with a great number of Mellotts from Fulton County, Pennsylvania. It makes sense that he is buried near them. Is it possible that when you photographed the tombstones in the East Sunsbury Cemetery that you located his? Hello I have Mellott's who married Palmers in my Tree John W. Mellott born 1814 & married Elizabeth King b 1816 had a son Michael Palmer who married in 1860. Elizabeth Mellott. They had children. My 2nd cousin has done extensive research on this line. Would love to see the headstone pix! Also married into this line are Truex, Hendershot and Hartshorn.
