Hi Betty. I have Henry Mowder, Sr. and his whole family, lots of information. Have never had the surname Moose before, I think you may be talking about Catherine Morris, but all of the Mowders in this country are related. My Henry, Sr. was born ca 1780, PA, married 3 times, first to a Susannah Lily, then to Elizabeth Breech, and then to Elizabeth Kidwiler, his son Henry was born 1837, died 1898, married Catherine Morris/Norris, I have all of his children. He is buried in the Moffat Cemetery with his father, Monroe Co., OH. Henry, Sr. was my 4th Ggrandfather. Contact me at howardsargent314@cs.com and I can burn you a CD of all the information. Howard, in your MOWDER'S do you happen to have Henry Mowder? He married Sarah (AWLER OR AMLER OR OLAR) Moose in 1882. Sarah 1828-1922 was first married to Archimedes Moose 1826-1876. He has built a roof over where he stays. I went all 12 years of school there. Bethel school is in better shape now than when they had school there. They have an insurance company using part of it and they rent it out for reunions and etc. The rest I don't know about they are on the other end of the county. Yes, I look forward to receiving your info on Albert and Martha Jane Bumgardner Brown. I am also interested if Albert Brown ( and brother Lee) might be connected to a John Brown who married Nancy Steele. John and Nancy are buried in Locust Grove Cem. in Monroe County. Some of their children's names are Chris, Zeph, Nancy Jane, Lydia. My two sister's by Amanda & Leonard Lendon were Alvaretta Adaline, who is 86 and still living. The other, Mary Louise died several years ago; but she was in her 70's. I am in touch with several Lendon's now. One of Isaac's Lendon's descendants and I correspond. My sisters, Cora and Elsie both work on the Lendon family.
