Wow, thats my site and I didnt even have to advertise! :) Yes, Matt Sutko put a great piece of work together. I will be adding the source material soon, once it gets scanned. http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~kell/rwtest.html has the link to the Dillon history as well as a link to the McFadden history and some other biographies. Please send any feedback to Matt or myself. We would love to hear opinions and corrections. Thank you. Is it just me, or is anybody else receiving this digest in a new format? After I read the list of contributors, I have to go through the entire thing because it says at the bottom "Press any key to continue" I prefer the ability to go back to my index of mail if there is nothing in the digest I want to read. (I believe he was known as Sprague in Monreo Co.) Anyway where is Sunfish or was Sunfish? After visiting Samuel he went to his old home. About half a days Journy from Sprague's home. I do not believe a man would travel more than a few miles by wagon or horseback. Especially in A very cold January. Please help me search out the location of Sunfish. That is the starting point in locating the home place of my Great grandfather. Henry Kysor. Thanks in advance.

Trying to resolve some mixed up genealogical data on MOSER family. 1880 census Ohio Monroe Co. Ohio Township Moser, Frederic w/m 43 Switzerland farmer. Anna wife 47 kh SWitzerland (dies in 1882) Alfred son 7 Ohio Louisa dau 3 Ohio Roth, Sara 10 Ohio Bruny, Mary 6 Ohio Rutishowser 14 Switzerland. These children , Alfred and Louisa , are the children of Fred MOSER 1837 and Anna ROTH, according to birth records in Monroe County. Does anyone know who Frederick MOSER is? I thought he was son of Christian & Verena (Liechti)MOSER until recently. We are very close to proving that the Frederick MOSER 1837 & Rosa Bruny who went to IOWA. in 1877 is son of Christian & Verena (Frenna) MOSER and therefore brother to Christian MOSER and Anna BRUNY. Any ROTH people out there? Karen
Sally, I see you are asking about Weddle. I have Weddle in my family. They aren't a direct descent but I did do some tracing on them as a friend had married into the family that was still in Washington Co. Ohio and the daughter of a cousin has just married a local Weddle that I had never met. Lynn
Hi Betsy. I wrote too late at night. Henry States and Mary Catharine States Cline died September 15, 1859 and September 18, 1859, respectively. (Sorry I had originally had them one day apart, but other records say differently) Their spouses Margaret Drum States and Samuel Hamilton Cline were married in 1860 (abt) and had their first child October 22, 1860. At first I also wondered about cause of death, but the court house burned and no records before 1865 on deaths so no way to find out. Sorry. Glad to see you are still out there. I have made this my full time job and everything else is part time and I still can't get caught up. Have a nice holiday. Jerilyn

Sally. This is what I can give you. John Waller (abt 1796-before 1860) and Mary Rue. They had the following children that I know of. The dates of birth are all approximate. William 1828, George 1830, Eleanor 1833, Abner 1836, Mahala 1841 and Rue 1847. George married Naomi Smith and died around 1859 in Monroe Co., Ohio. Naomi moved to Wayne Co., Illinois to follow her parents and married a Caudle (we believe in Wayne Co.,) The children of Naomi and George Weddle were Elizabeth, William who married Rachel Lappin, Mary and Minerva. I have a few more dates but not pertinent to you unless this fits in. Good luck. Jerilyn
Mary Catherine States married Samuel Hamilton Cline. She died young and he married her brother-in-law, Henry States. Samuel H. Cline's wife and Mary Catherine's brother died one day apart and they then married. Sure was strange to me, but perhaps OK. Henry was married to Margaret Drum. I have quite a few Cline's spread out through the family and have copies of a lot of Cline material, but we carpeted the basement which is my area a week ago and I am still trying to dig out my papers and books. Trying to sort and arrange as I go so I know what I have. Have really gotten behind. Being on the Internet really brings in too much information to check on at time and I am supposed to be typing all my information on the States, Smith, Brewer and Leak family into a book. Was in Ohio for purse of finding out more and have piles from that trip plus 45 years of research materials from my mother and me. Let me know about the Montgomery. Daniel died in Vinton Co., Ohio and Alice came on to be with her brothers in Wayne Co.., Jerilyn
